2018 Youth America Camp
July 23rd - July 27th, 2018
As many of you know, we have really been contemplating and getting a check in our spirits about switching camps this summer. We love C4C, and all that we have received from the ministry that has come from these camps the past 4 years, but for the summer of 2018 we have decided to go to Youth America in Oklahoma City, OK. We are really excited to see what is in store for our students for Summer Camp this year.
What is Youth America? It’s not just a camp, and it’s not just a conference. It’s the best of both. This camp offers everything from sports activities (basketball, volleyball, rock wall, paintball, inflatables, etc.) to talent competitions (Youth America Idol, Overall talent competition). Their mission is to help the local church and their youth groups inspire students to know that your local church is the most important thing that they can be a part of.
Youth America is a week before C4C, which means the dates for the camp are July 16th-July 20th and just like we were previously going to take a bus, we are still planning on doing so. The price is also going to change. The cost is now $380 which will include transportation, food for Monday night through Friday morning, and lodging for 4 nights. As you continue to look through this packet, you will find all the information for the week at Youth America, as well as the activities. With this camp, everything is located on their 62 acre campus: the food, the lodging, the services, and all the activities. Our group however, will be staying in a hotel off site, because all of lodging on site is booked. (This change is included in the price already). The age limit is still for 6th-12th graders.
